She was born to a single mother and grew up, along with her brother, in a Pittsburgh public housing community. Though they didn’t have much, they did have a mother and grandmother who pushed them beyond the boundaries of their environment. With that push, Jada became the first in her family to graduate college. Getting there, however, didn’t come without its fair share of challenges. At the age of 17, Jada lost her childhood friend to suicide. She attended more funerals and teen baby showers than she cares to count. But Jada was resilient. What could have easily marked the end for someone else sparked a desire for something new in Jada. 

In college, Jada worked three jobs and still managed to earn her bachelor’s with a 3.8 GPA. She also was 22 credit cards and $15,000 in debt. Between her own debt and watching her mother endure financial challenges, Jada decided enough was enough. So, she pursued a career in banking to be a bridge to create economic opportunities for others and help them to pay it forward by doing the same. Fast forward 20 years and Jada has become a powerhouse leader. Her experience in business and financial services, strategic philanthropy, leadership, and corporate responsibility, drives her desire to educate, empower and inspire others to believe in whats possible.  As a motivational speaker , personal finance leader and life coach, Jada is always poised to push people to the next level. 
 
She’s also a huge proponent of women helping women. For Jada, success is not about money or titles. Instead, she measures success by the number of people she inspires to confidently chase their dreams.
